Ways to Give

Wildest Dreams - Social Ambassador CampaignAs a non-profit, charitable organization, the Assiniboine Park Conservancy relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations, foundations and community groups to make our work in education, conservation, research and recreation possible.

Select a bench that is available for adoption (i.e. it does not already have a plaque on the front). You may want to select a few options in case one is already spoken for. Take note of the four-digit tag number on the back of the bench and identify your order of priority, then plan your inscription for the customized plaque and submit the order form.

For more information, please contact Susan Buffie at sbuffie@assiniboinepark.ca or (204) 927-6038.

Journey to Churchill will open on July 3 as the greatest northern species Zoo exhibit anywhere in the world and that’s something of which Manitobans should be very proud. Be part of the amazing Journey to Churchill experience by adopting a bench located in the exhibit.

For more information, please contact Susan Buffie at sbuffie@assiniboinepark.ca or (204) 927-6038.

Are the English Gardens one of your favorite spots in the Park? Show your appreciation for loved ones and this special location with a fence plaque. Spots are available in the posts of the stone wall fence that surrounds the gardens or the wrought iron fence that encloses the gardens.

Thanks to federal tax incentives, many donors are turning their appreciated stocks, bonds and mutual fund units into charitable gifts. Gifts of securities are exempt from capital gains taxes and donors receive a tax receipt for the full market value of the shares at the date of the transfer.

If you have questions or require more information, please contact us at donations@assiniboinepark.ca or (204) 927-8080.

The Assiniboine Park Conservancy (APC) can assist you with virtually any type of legacy gift, including bequests (willed gifts) and gifts of life insurance. Download the PDF below for suggested wording for wills. If you have already made a gift to APC in your will, we would love to recognize you for this special gift. If you are comfortable doing so, please complete the Planned Gift Confirmation Form.

For further assistance, please contact contact us at donations@assiniboinepark.ca or (204) 927-8080.
