Zoo Ambassador:

Spring Break, May to September (weekends), and June to August (daily)

This position involves the greeting of guests at the front gate and advising them on the events happening around the Zoo. The arrival of a new animal.  A new animal attraction. The times of the interpretative talks. There are daily update sheets and in some occasions handouts. The Zoo Ambassadors are given vests to wear for identification purposes. The position is very flexible.  A minimum of 5 hours is required.

Fundraising Activities:

• There are many on-going volunteer opportunities in our fundraising activities from planning, day of set up/take down, creative brainstorming to general support.
• Some events include the Polar Run, Run Wild for the Zoo, Zoo Social, Boo at the Zoo

• A volunteer orientations must be attended in order to volunteer.
• Registration forms are available on our website at www.zoosociety.com and can also be picked up at the Zoo Gift Shop
